I wanted to share some tips and advice on how to use AI agents to help with automating workflows.

Be clear

One important thing to keep in mind is to define clear goals and objectives for your AI agent. This will help ensure that the agent is working towards the outcomes you want to achieve.
Explain as you would to a person with no context, the better you are able to articulate what you want, the better the results will be. As the saying goes; you get out what you put in. Simplify put the better the input the better the output so let’s work on that:
  1. Who — Who you’d want the AI to act like, this step provided some content in the type of conversation/answer you expect from the AI.
  1. What — What you’d like the AI to do for you? (spell it out, leave nothing up to imagination)
  1. Topic — This is what you want the AI to focus on.
  1. How — Specifying the outcome

Some use-cases:

Suppose you’re a content marketer; create an SEO-optimized blog post outline that compares and contrasts different products or services related to keyword [X], targeting consumers with a neutral tone and a desired length of 1000-1500 words.

Act as a content marketing specialist, create a comprehensive blog post outline focused on providing tips and tricks for [X] targeting DIY enthusiasts with a conversational tone and a desired length of 1200-1500 words.

Be collaborative

The fact that you are even reading this implies you are an early adopter of new technologies, so you're aware, it's very hard (in the current state of things) for the AIs to get things perfect the first time. So it’s very much a collaborative process. So regularly review and analyze the data that your AI agent is generating. This can help you identify trends and patterns that you may not have noticed otherwise. Additionally, it can help you refine your AI agent's algorithms and workflows to make them more effective and efficient. You can edit the Agents task to guide it the way you’d like:

Note: our current agent architecture recreates the tasks and re-prioritises them on every loop. The very first task to be done next is not modified before it's executed but any other edits may be changed if the AI thinks it's not that relevant to the objective.

We'll have further customisation on this coming very soon!

Be careful

Lastly, it's important to remember that AI agents are not a replacement for human input and oversight. While they can certainly help automate certain tasks and workflows, they still require human intervention and decision-making in many cases.
