What the checker tests

Each check has a weight. The weights add up to 100. A pass earns full points, a warning earns about half, and a fail earns none.

  • AI crawler access
    Checks robots.txt for ten AI bots, including GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, Claude-SearchBot, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Google-Extended, Applebot-Extended, and CCBot.
  • Indexable and quotable
    Checks that the page returns a normal response with no noindex or nosnippet directive.
  • Server-rendered text
    Checks that the main text is in the HTML before any JavaScript runs.
  • llms.txt and sitemap
    Checks for /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt, and an XML sitemap that crawlers can follow.
  • Page basics
    Checks the title, meta description, h1, h2 headings, canonical link, language, and Open Graph tags.
  • Structured data
    Looks for JSON-LD such as Organization, Article, Product, BreadcrumbList, and FAQPage.
